  • We had the best time in this fantastic camper settled in the most magical space, right outside Mono Lake and Yosemite. We saw a bald eagle, deer, found obsidian, BBQed with an epic sunset every night, visited over 10 lakes, hiked on trails, toured a ghost town, awed at the bats every night and even more at the epic stars. The vibe of the site is so fun! Cute and clean public restrooms. Firewood, charcoal, and ice are available from the camp host. We appreciated the amenities of the camper and the comfy beds. We had an absolute blast! Thank you for everything.

  • A really lovely RV park. Wonderfully maintained, the bathrooms are immaculate, the communication was outstanding. The vibe here is quiet, nature-focused, and family friendly. We splashed in the lake and sat by the community fire swapping stories. Highly recommend.

  • Such a hidden gem! The views were surreal and the campsite itself was unique and quirky with a peaceful, homely atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised after weeks of travelling and camping! It had everything you would ever need - a cute outdoor kitchen & dining area with fairy lights, a laundry room, books, and moisturizer & razors in the bathroom. The host was so welcoming and offered help at every opportunity! Would 100% recommend.

Who We Are

Hello intrepid traveler, we are happy you found us!

We're a family owned RV Park & Campground located on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. Together with our crew, we're excited to welcome you into our newly adopted home.

We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and return to your senses.

When you arrive, we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may ask you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. Regarding your pets, we love them all, though some dogs we love more than others. Your pups will be part of our family, but they must conduct themselves accordingly. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.

We hope Paradise Shores Camp becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here.

We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. Excellent hiking & running trails, thousands of miles of ATV, dirtbike and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from Paradise Shores. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy the campfire and eat s’mores. The more adventurous may prefer kayaking, boating, fishing, bird watching, rock climbing, natural water slides and stand up paddle boards. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in a remote wilderness settings.

Return to your senses. Put down your phone and pick up experience, the mountains are calling..
